Somehow I was expecting an easy walk and it surely isn’t – well, up to Bastion it’s fairly easy although from the very beginning the road goes undoubtedly up, very much up. From Bastion forward it’s no longer a road but a winding path and sometimes you need to take big up steps. But, it is absolutely worth it – when you take that last bit up to the chapel, then you can relax all you want and just take in that absolutely stunning view – Garda Lake is a paradise on Earth, that’s for sure!
