Since 2 years I regularly pass Kampenwand on the way to Austria and last Saturday we finally climbed it! Monte Bestone is a small mountain with the biggest view! Monte Baldo, Tremosine and Garda Lake right at your feet. This time we found the starting point to hike Trainsjoch but upon getting to Mariandlalm, it turned out that you need to have snowshoes to go further... Oh well, too bad! Time for Weißbier and Kasspressknödel 😋 3rd attempt pending!
