Very romantic, no? Soundtrack of the day 🙂 My dream of getting on Daniel was long overdue and finally made it happen today! Since the times before Munich I had it in my list, Lermoos is a sentimental place for me 🙂
Today we left Munich shortly after 7am: very windy, quite dark and +19c! Arriving in Lermoos 8.30 it was partly sunny, no wind and 12c: perfect hiking conditions! We went exactly as described here https://www.tourentipp.com/de/touren/daniel-bergtour_414.html and it was good going that way, other way around it’s too steep going down from Uppspitze. Very pretty tour: narrow paths, steep uphill from Grüner Upps to Uppspitze, the sudden clouds hiding the view unfortunately, the Brotzeit near the peak, quick way down with frozen hands and the full sunshine at Tuftlalm, enjoying Kaiserschmarrn and the spectacular view of Zugspitze Massive.
