A failed attempt at climbing Jochberg but a full success at having lunch with a spectacular view 🏔❄️🌊

I drove to Kesselbergsattel (850 m nn ) with a solid plan of hiking Jochberg but I realized pretty soon it ain’t going to happen as as I wouldn’t manage way down without trekking poles so I turned back and went up towards Herzogstandshaus. Turns out it’s a very popular skitour route – good to know for the future. I went up to the view point, took seat on the perfectly positioned bench, had lunch and walked back to the car! Not what I planned for but very refreshing anyway 🙂
